Covid information

The fire department is no longer contact tracing for the purposes of workers comp. It is incumbent upon the employee to file a claim outlining the circumstances of their exposure.  

This means that the employee needs to fill out an injury report if you feel that you were exposed on duty.  Examples would be if you went on a call of a confirmed signal 3 or a call with symptoms of Covid.  

You should also be offered a form to allow the union president to see the medical information related to your Covid case.  You may sign it or not sign it.
